A calm place to start.

Short onboarding notes for setting up your storefront, publishing collections, and keeping preorder requests organized.

Welcome to TPC

What is TPC?

The Preorder Collective is built for preorder-first businesses that need a simpler way to organize collections, order requests, personalization, and customer status updates.

What is The Backroom?

The Backroom is your seller workspace. It is where you create collections, add products, review orders, update statuses, and download reports.

Backroom mobile vs Backroom web

Use the mobile Backroom for quick updates and simple tasks. Use Backroom web when you want more room for order review, reports, and store settings.

Recommended setup order

  • Review your storefront settings.
  • Add policies and size guide information.
  • Create your first collection.
  • Add products and publish when ready.
  • Review incoming order requests in The Backroom.

Store Setup

Before your first collection

  • Upload your logo.
  • Confirm your storefront name.
  • Add brand details.
  • Add store, return, and shipping policies.
  • Upload a size guide.
  • Review your storefront before creating collections.

A complete storefront builds confidence. Before publishing your first collection, make sure customers can easily find your policies, size information, and brand details.

Creating Collections

Collection workflow

  • Create collection.
  • Add close date.
  • Add estimated delivery.
  • Upload collection image.
  • Add products.
  • Publish collection.

Collections are the foundation of your storefront. Before publishing, confirm your collection image, close date, estimated delivery timeframe, and product details are accurate and easy for customers to understand.

Managing Orders

Order review basics

  • Review submitted order requests.
  • Filter by status.
  • Update order status.
  • Track personalization.
  • Communicate with customers as needed.
  • Download reports as collections close.
  • Use status updates to keep customers informed throughout the preorder process.

Order statuses help customers follow progress while giving you a clear view of what needs invoicing, production planning, or shipment.

Reports & Downloads

Use reports for planning

  • Download order reports.
  • Review size counts.
  • Review style counts.
  • Review personalization.
  • Use reports for invoicing and production planning.

Reports help turn order requests into action. Use them to prepare invoices, organize production counts, review personalization details, and keep collections moving without sorting comments or spreadsheets.
